Drawing from Nature
It is said that nature is the best teacher. That's why artists and scientists have always studied it in all its forms, uncovering many of its secrets.
Discovering and being able to depict these secrets brings joy and can deeply connect us with life and nature. A specific dried flower or a shell you found in the sand as a child gains a very special appreciation this way, becoming once again a special part of your own story. Incidentally, you'll learn to observe closely, use your drawing tools confidently, and apply structures purposefully.
on Fridays:
August 21/28 and September 4/11, 2026, 2-5 PM
Suitable for those with basic drawing experience.
Maximum 10 participants
Materials:
Aug 21 and 28: drawing paper (DIN A3 preferred), pencils (various grades), fineliner (optional), kneaded eraser, pencil eraser
Sep 4 and 11: Several sheets of colored paper (DIN A3, medium brightness),
white and black colored pencils or charcoal and white chalks.
Alternatively, you can also work with ink wash on all four evenings: ink, hair brush, water glass, distilled water, 3 sealable medicine bottles, at least 300g watercolor paper, satin finish
Motivs are available at Akthof, but you are also welcome to bring your own: (feathers, fruits, blossoms, buds, dried leaves, snails, shells, bones, seed pods, ...)

You will receive confirmation of your registration from us and your place in the course will be reserved for you and is binding. Courses priced above 25€ require a minimum prepayment of 25€. Your place in the course is only guaranteed after receipt of payment. If the course is already fully booked, we will inform you.
Cancellation: The cancellation of a course registration must be made in writing. If the cancellation is received up to 15 days before the start of the course, you will be refunded the course fee minus the deposit paid. If you cancel from the 14th day before the start of the course or if you do not show up, no refund of the course fee is possible.
The decisive time for the cancellation is the date of receipt. Alternatively, it is always possible to organize a substitute participant. All details are in our General terms and conditions.
