Drawing animals in charcoal
Sketching animals with charcoal feels good:
The soft, natural drawing material easily reproduces the moving body contours and indicates the coat structure. The inaccuracy of chalk is even an advantage when drawing something vivid. With various brown, black and white chalks, you can represent every hair dress. The roughness of wild nature and the psychology of facial expressions — an animal portrait has both in it.
The variety of forms of domestic animals known to us follows certain rules.
At the beginning, I will explain some basic anatomical types.
Suitable for beginners and advanced users.
Material:
charcoal (willow charcoal), artists' crayons, e.g. black, white, red chalk and shades of brown,
Soft, unburned; plasticine; soft 5B pencil, drawing pad or tinted paper
