Grisaille technique in oil
In this course, you will learn the classic grisaille painting technique — a painting technique that works exclusively in shades of gray to masterfully represent light, shadow and plasticity. We will guide you step by step from the basics to the finished composition.
The course is suitable for both beginners and advanced users who want to deepen their knowledge of oil painting. Maximum 10 participants
Dates: Friday, September 19, 26 and October 3, 2025, 6-9 pm
Material:
* covered stretcher frames (maximum 50 x 50) or oil painting paper
* Oil paints in earth-tone colors (e.g. raw and burnt umber, burnt Sienna, Van Dyck brown), ivory black, mineral black and white (preferably titanium white or mixed white)
* Linseed oil and drying accelerator (Liquin Original)
* Flat palette, painting knife + brushes (synthetic flats in various sizes)
* Rags or paper towels

You will receive confirmation of your registration from us and your place in the course will be reserved for you and is binding. Courses priced above 25€ require a minimum prepayment of 25€. Your place in the course is only guaranteed after receipt of payment. If the course is already fully booked, we will inform you.
Cancellation: The cancellation of a course registration must be made in writing. If the cancellation is received up to 15 days before the start of the course, you will be refunded the course fee minus the deposit paid. If you cancel from the 14th day before the start of the course or if you do not show up, no refund of the course fee is possible.
The decisive time for the cancellation is the date of receipt. Alternatively, it is always possible to organize a substitute participant. All details are in our General terms and conditions.
