Life Drawing - Long Poses
You are free to choose drawing/painting techniques as you like.
It is also possible to model and sculpt with clay.
On Thursday evenings, you can study the same pose in detail for three hours — ideally 2-3 Thursdays in a row. Among other things, this gives you enough time to try out different techniques and compare their effects with regard to the same subject. You can also work out a drawing down to the last detail. This is the space to approach human proportions in peace or to examine the anatomy with expert guidance. You can try out surfaces, gray values and hatches or various processes and ways of looking and find out which ones suit you best personally.
If you want to work three-dimensionally in clay, you can look at the model from different sides and thus get a complete understanding of its form and dimensions. You may bring your own clay or purchase it at Akthof. Tools are available for a small usage fee. For organizational reasons, we ask you to register in advance if you are planning to use clay. If you want more variety, you can also change your position in the room in order to draw the pose from different perspectives. Everyone is individually advised and supported according to their wishes.
Prices:
10-hour card: 80€ course fee plus 30€ model fee
monthly subscription: Up to 3 evenings a week for 4 weeks for only 125€ plus 60€ model fee!
Two hours: 18 € plus model fee*
Three hours: 25 € plus model fee*
sample/individual lesson: 7€ plus model fee*
*Model fee at a flat rate of 8€ per evening
We welcome registration by e-mail, but spontaneous participation in the evening is always possible, as long as there are still spots available.

Akthof Course Booking
You can sign up for our courses here. Simply select the appropriate course from the form.
You will receive confirmation of your registration from us and your place in the course will be reserved for you and is binding. Courses priced above 25€ require a minimum prepayment of 25€. Your place in the course is only guaranteed after receipt of payment. If the course is already fully booked, we will inform you.
Cancellation: The cancellation of a course registration must be made in writing. If the cancellation is received up to 15 days before the start of the course, you will be refunded the course fee minus the deposit paid. If you cancel from the 14th day before the start of the course or if you do not show up, no refund of the course fee is possible.
The decisive time for the cancellation is the date of receipt. Alternatively, it is always possible to organize a substitute participant. All details are in our General terms and conditions.
