The STROKE Art Fair is considered Munich's most renowned boutique art fair for new and established contemporary art and will take place on the Praterinsel in Munich from May 1 to 3, 2026. With Anette Bley, Benjy Barnhart, BlondiArt, Gabriela Focken and Giuseppe Fiore, we present five strong, independent artistic positions. Together, this quintet represents the broad spectrum of artistic work at Akthof — with a clear reference to figurative practice, which has characterized the distinctive profile of our art school for many years.

BlondiArt combines reality and imagination to create bizarre, narrative visual worlds — from her #BeautifulCreatures to #PaperBagArt, in which used materials are transformed into art with ironic undertones.
Gabriela Focken deconstructs seemingly flawless Internet aesthetics and, in her expressive portraits, reveals the fragility, ambivalence, and internal areas of tension of an optimized society.
Giuseppe Fiore transforms wrinkles, reflections and crumpled materials into photorealistic oil paintings that oscillate between surface and depth and develop an almost three-dimensional image effect.
